To use certain features of MAOE and MAOE One, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to:

• Maintain the security and confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

All content, features, and functionality available through our services—including but not limited to software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, as well as the design, selection, and arrangement thereof—are owned by MAOE, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by New Zealand, European Union, and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

You are permitted to use our applications (MAOE, MAOE One) for your personal, non-commercial use only, or legitimate business purposes as explicitly authorized by us. You must not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, republish, download, store, or transmit any of the material on our services without prior written consent.

You are solely responsible for your conduct and any data, text, files, information, usernames, images, graphics, photos, profiles, audio and video clips, sounds, musical works, works of authorship, applications, links, and other content or materials that you submit, post, or display on or via our services.

You agree not to use the services to:

• Violate any local, state, national, or international law, including the New Zealand Harmful Digital Communications Act 2015, applicable European Union regulations, and other relevant global laws.
• Infringe upon the rights of others, including intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Transmit or distribute viruses, worms, malware, or any other harmful code.
• Engage in harassing, bullying, defamatory, or abusive behavior.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks.

New Zealand and Global Consumers

If you are a consumer in New Zealand, nothing in these Terms limits, restricts, or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA) or the Fair Trading Act 1986 (FTA). For consumers in the European Union, these Terms do not restrict any of your statutory rights under EU consumer protection laws. If you are acquiring our services for the purpose of a business, you agree that the provisions of the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 do not apply to the extent permitted by law.

General Limitation

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MAOE, its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from (i) your access to or use of or inability to access or use the services; (ii) any conduct or content of any third party on the services; and (iii) unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless MAOE Corporation Limited, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms of Use or your use of the services, including, but not limited to, your User Content, any use of the services' content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.

By continuing to access or use our services (MAOE, MAOE One) after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, in whole or in part, please stop using the website and the services.
